RE: Comparative hydrophelic ORAC analysis
Dear Mr. Wallach
Brunswick Laboratories (Wareham,Ma) was engaged by American
Longevity
to analyze the antioxidant capacity of it's Vitale Juice and
a variety of other
liquid nutritional products.
Brunswick tested the following products for their hydrophelic
oxygen radical
absorbance capacity (ORAC). The results are summarized below:
| |
ORAC (1) per fl oz. |
ORAC (1) per liter |
| Viatale (2) |
1,800 |
60,809 |
| Xango (2) |
560 |
18,950 |
| Tahitian Noni (2) |
450 |
14,970 |
| Sea Silver (2) |
150 |
4,990 |
Notes:
1. micromoles Trolox equivalent
2. Test conducted on a single sample of unopened retail product
Based on this test, our analysis demonstrates that American
Longevity's Vitale has approximately three (3) times the ORAC
value
of the next highest product tested.
The ORAC test is a reliable and recognized standard for the
antioxidant
capacity of natural products. It showsAmerican Longevity Vitale
delivers a high level of antioxidant power per fluid ounce of
product.
